Fajita Tech
A new tradition started in the Spring of 2000. The annual elections meeting and Pizza Tech became known this year as Fajita Tech. This year's turnout was huge as Jim and Ann Demerath once again provided their digs to feed and water the masses. A short driving tour through Jefferson County led by Dave Huntley treated us to stops at Gene and Judy Davis' new home as well as the future homesite for Dave Huntley and Linda Freitag's abode. Following the drive, the group settled into a feeding frenzy of chicken and steak fajitas with plenty of beans and salsa, followed by the annual Elections meeting. Mike Slechta was not present to receive the nomination for president, but that didn't stop us! MS became the new prez in a near-unanimous vote for a 2-year term. Mike will continue to be newsletter editor as well.
