Some Madison MG Group members devote spare time to recycling used-up MG cars into spare parts inventory. In Wisconsin, roads are salted in winter which greatly speeds up the deterioriation of cars, particularly MGs. It has been found that just one winter season of driving around here will ruin one, and as a result a few rusted hulks have been parked in their final resting places. These trashed cars become a treasure trove for those folks who are willing to buy and dissassemble them for the spare parts they yield.
