About MBCG
Our club began in 1991 to bring together people who love British cars. We first called ourselves the “Madison MG Group” and used “madisonmggroup.org” as our website. As more marques joined in, the name changed in January 2005 to the “Madison British Car Group” (MBCG). By June 2005, our current MBCG logo was in use, and in July 2006 our updated website, “madbrits.org,” went online.

The Madison British Car Group is run by five officers and welcomes any British car marque.

Monthly meetings
The Breakwater
6308 Inland Way
Monona, WI 53713
*They begin around 6:30 PM on the second Wednesday of each month.
What brings us together is simple: we enjoy talking about British cars, including driving them, maintaining them, and restoring them. Our members are very knowledgeable and can offer technical support, second opinions, and help when considering a new purchase. Many members also have spare parts and special tools, or can point you in the right direction.

We currently have about 75 member households, and we continue to grow. Most members live in the Madison and Milwaukee areas, with others as far north as Menasha and some in other states.

MBCG publishes a monthly newsletter called Rumblings and holds monthly meetings* during the winter storage season (September through May). Members also enjoy driving events, including trips to the University Motors Summer Parties in Grand Rapids, area car shows, and GOF events. These events are listed in our Rumblings newsletter.
