I’ve saved up some money for skins, and now I’m torn between buying a couple of high-tier ones or spreading it out on smaller upgrades like AK, M4, and pistol skins. Do you guys focus on a few expensive pieces or build your inventory step by step with mid-tier items?

Is it better to upgrade your loadout slowly or buy a few big skins at once?

It’s mostly about risk tolerance and how you play. A couple of big pieces give you a flashy loadout but tie your value to fewer items; mid-tier upgrades spread the risk and are usually easier to sell if you need to cash out or rebalance. I like to test both approaches by checking total value and liquidity on csmarketcap.com — you can see how individual items have been trading, compare fee-adjusted returns across markets, and decide whether a single expensive skin or a small basket of staples makes more sense. If the big item’s spread and fees are brutal, I lean mid-tier; if its history is stable and demand is strong on multiple platforms, I’m more comfortable going big.
